With all the rave about health, exercise, and lifestyle another thing to add are super-foods for their unusual high content of antioxidants, vitamins, and other nutrients.

BEE POLLEN:

Bee pollen is an amazing health food. I personally enjoy a teaspoon amount on a regular basis. Bee pollen contains nearly all nutrients necessary for human health such as vitamins, minerals, carbs, enzymes, protein, fatty acids, and antioxidants. Bee pollen benefits also includes it being anti-inflammatory, aides with infertility, helps with allergies, antimicrobial, and supports hormonal health.

Pregnant and nursing moms should avoid bee pollen.

NUTS:

Nuts are loaded with antioxidants. Eating nuts may lower "bad" LDL cholesterol and raise "good" HDL cholesterol. Nuts are low in carbs and don't raise blood sugar levels much. Dark chocolate contains antioxidants, has mood-enhancing endorphins, and flavonoids which improves blood flow to the brain.
